If a data subject wishes to take advantage of special services offered by our company via our website, it may be necessary to process personal data. As the controller, Ultimate Catamarans GmbH has implemented technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data processed via this website. Absolute protection of internet-based transmissions cannot be guaranteed; you may always transmit personal data by alternative means, for example by telephone.

3.1 When visiting our website

When you visit https://ultimatecatamarans.com the browser on your end device automatically sends information to the server hosting our pages. This information is temporarily stored in a log file and includes: IP address of the requesting computer; timestamp; name and URL of the downloaded file; referrer URL; internet browser and operating system; and the name of your access provider.

This data is processed to ensure a smooth connection and convenient use of the website, to evaluate system safety and stability, and for other administrative purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. The collected data is not used to draw conclusions about you as a person.

3.2 Newsletter

If you expressly consent by double opt-in in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a GDPR, we will use your email address to send our newsletter. We collect only the information necessary for that purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the end of each newsletter or by email to rw@ultimatecatamarans.com.

3.3 Online contact form

When you contact us via our online form a valid email address is required so that we can assign and answer your enquiry. Further information is voluntary. Processing is based on your consent under Art. 6 (1) a GDPR. We retain enquiry data only for as long as necessary to process and follow up the enquiry and to comply with applicable legal or contractual retention requirements.

Your personal data is not transferred to third parties except where: you have given explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR); it is necessary to protect legitimate interests under Art. 6 (1) f GDPR and no overriding interest of yours prevents this; there is a legal obligation under Art. 6 (1) c GDPR; or it is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships under Art. 6 (1) b GDPR.

Our website uses cookies — small files for unique identification. They are stored on your device and may be returned to our server while you browse. Cookies do not damage your device and do not contain viruses or other harmful software. Session cookies are deleted automatically when you leave our website; temporary cookies are stored for a defined period to remember settings; and statistical cookies help us evaluate and improve our offer.

5.2 Cookies in use

• uc-cookie-consent-v1 — Ultimate Catamarans. Stores your cookie-banner choice in localStorage so the banner is not shown again on subsequent visits. Essential; no consent required.
• googtrans — Google Translate. Only set if you explicitly select a non-English language from the language switcher. Records the target language so translation persists across pages. Removed when you switch back to English or use Cookie settings.

Essential cookies are processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the site). Optional services listed below are only activated with your consent or at your explicit request, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) a GDPR.

5.3 Blocking cookies

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you before one is set. Limiting cookies may affect the functionality of our website. You can also withdraw or change your consent for optional services at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer.

5.4 Third-party services

Google Translate (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) — loaded only when you actively select a non-English language. When loaded, it transmits the page content and technical connection data (including your IP address) to Google in order to render the translation. No translate request is made without your action. To stop transmission, switch the language back to English or clear your consent via Cookie settings.

Typefaces (self-hosted) — the Cormorant Garamond and Inter typefaces are served directly from our own web server. No connection to Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) or any other third-party font service is made when fonts are loaded, and no data is transmitted to Google for this purpose.

Contact form processing — contact-form submissions are processed on our own server infrastructure (Ultimate Catamarans) and delivered to contact@ultimatecatamarans.com. The data you enter (name, e-mail, phone, country, message) is stored in our access- controlled database and used solely to reply to your enquiry. A short-lived acknowledgement e-mail is sent to you via our verified sending domain (notify.ultimatecatsolution.com). No third-party form processor receives your submission. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 (1) a GDPR (your explicit consent given via the checkbox on the form).

Monaco Yacht Show appointment requests — if you request an appointment for the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, the data you enter (name, company, e-mail, telephone, booking role, preferred date and time, optional message) is processed on our own server infrastructure and stored in our access-controlled database solely to arrange and confirm your appointment. An acknowledgement e-mail and, once your appointment is confirmed, a confirmation e-mail are sent via our verified sending domain (notify.ultimatecatsolution.com). No third-party booking platform receives your data. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract).

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; with data processing by Google LLC in the United States under EU Standard Contractual Clauses) — aggregated marketing and website analytics used to improve our advertising and marketing decisions. Categories of processed data: page URL, referrer, session-level identifiers, coarse geographic location derived from IP, device category, browser, operating system, and the aggregated conversion events newsletter_signup, contact_enquiry, contact_success, generate_lead and tri_hybrid_overview_open(event name and timestamp only — never form field content, email, name or message text). GA4 is loaded only after you give explicit consent via the Cookie banner; before consent no GA4 script, cookies or network requests to google-analytics.com are made. Google Signals, ads personalisation and remarketing are disabled. IP addresses are anonymised. Data retention is configured to the shortest supported period; you can withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) a GDPR (your consent). Our website may contain links to external social media platforms. Clicking a link to a platform does not automatically transmit data to that service. The respective platform's own privacy policy applies.

You have the right, under the EU GDPR, to:

You can subscribe to the Ultimate Catamarans newsletter using the signup form on our website. Registration is voluntary and takes place under the double opt-in procedure: after entering your details you receive a confirmation email and only become a confirmed subscriber once you click the confirmation link in that email.

Legal basis: processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR), subject to legal review. You may withdraw this consent at any time with future effect, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Data processed: for new website signups, first name, last name, email address, the date and time of your registration and confirmation, and — where technically stored — a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address and browser user agent as consent evidence. The plain IP address and user agent are not retained. Some older or legacy imported subscriber records may also contain additional historical fields such as company, country or preferred language.

Consent evidence: for each subscriber we record the exact consent text version, the version of this privacy policy in force at the time, the consent source, and the confirmation timestamp. Where a subscriber was migrated from our legacy website list the record is marked as limited legacy evidence.

Unsubscribe: every newsletter and every subscription email contains a personalised one-click unsubscribe link leading to a page on this website; no login is required. Clicking this link removes your address from the active mailing list immediately and adds it to an internal suppression list, so you will not receive newsletters again and cannot be accidentally re-imported. You can also request removal by email to rw@ultimatecatamarans.com.

Sending workflow: the website / Lovable system manages signup, double opt-in, confirmation, unsubscribe, suppression and the subscriber database. The marketing newsletter itself is not sent automatically by the website. Authorised Ultimate Catamarans staff manually export only subscribers whose status is "confirmed" and use that list solely for sending Ultimate Catamarans newsletters. The export may include the subscriber data actually available and needed for addressing or personalisation and the individual unsubscribe URL. Pending, unsubscribed, bounced and suppressed addresses are excluded. If Ultimate Catamarans uses a separate email-delivery or mailing service for a particular campaign, it is used only as a processor under applicable data-protection requirements.

Retention: confirmed subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe. Unsubscribed and suppressed records are kept on a suppression list as proof that the address must not be contacted again. After an unsubscribe we retain only the minimum data required to document the consent and its withdrawal and to maintain suppression.

Renewed subscription: if you unsubscribe and later submit the signup form again, a new consent event is recorded and the subscription only becomes active once you complete the confirmation step again.

Email delivery: confirmation and subscription-service emails are sent via the existing authenticated website platform email infrastructure. The marketing newsletters themselves are prepared and sent manually by Ultimate Catamarans and are not automatically sent by Lovable or the website. An internal notification of a completed subscription (first name, last name, email address, request and confirmation time, signup source) is sent to contact@ultimatecatamarans.com.

This privacy policy is effective from 25 May 2018. Due to the further development of our website and changes in European law it may become necessary to amend this declaration. The current version can be retrieved on this website at any time.
